Vintage Tattered

Tattered was mainstream in the depression era ~ women like my grandmothers made beautiful scrap quilts from pieces of clothing and feedsacks, building contractors used salvaged brick to build the most elegant of homes at least as late as the early 40's. We currently live in such a cottage.

  1. I love architectural salvage...especially brick inside of homes!
Although...I'm not fond of the washed and reused tin foil my depression era mom uses haha :)
